Lieth is a flirtatious disaster of a woman. Raised in luxury in a posh monestary with her little brother, Kieran, she's never had to struggle or earn anything. She knows she and her brother were abandoned at the monastery because of her; she is what's known as an Aethrakin, a human who is believed to be descended from a repulsive union between a human and an Aethra. Aethrakin are extremely rare, and most believe them to be only myth. But Lieth can control the Aether much like an Aethra can. Rather than face the shame of raising her publically, her parents chose to drop her and Kieran at the monastery gate and abscond ito the night. The monks taught her to conceal her powers and while there are certainly abundant rumors about her abilities, she's largely just seen as a nuisance and a spoiled brat. She doesn't take anything seriously, because nothing she's ever done has ever landed her with serious consequences before. Life is a game to her. Until it's not, and she finds her life on the line, and only the Sage might be able to cure her.
